Recently, the first national beach volleyball training course was held at the Xiangshan Banbianshan Volleyball Centre. In the near future, important events such as the National Beach Volleyball Grand Slam and the Zhejiang Province Model Sailing Invitational Tournament will be carried out intensively here.

　　Since late June, Ningbo Bay Tianfei Lake in Fenghua has organised six municipal-level sporting events in one month, including the provincial youth kayak slalom championship, attracting more than 2,300 athletes.

　　At the end of June, two certified training centres for small sailing boats settled in Dongqian Lake and Meishan Bay within two days, triggering a fever for training and certification for small sailing boats. At present, more than 300 youngsters have been trained at the Meishan Bay Wanbo Fish Summer Camp, and nearly 70 have received their sailing license.

　　This summer, Ningbo is fully upgrading its marine sports industry. Ningbo Bay, Meishan Bay and Xiangshan Bay have seen a surge of marine sports fever.

　　Next year, the water sports sailing, windsurfing and beach volleyball competitions of the 19th Asian Games will be held in Ningbo.
