Ding Lei, CEO of online gaming company NetEase

　　Four entrepreneurs from Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province made the 2022 list of the China's top 50 CEOs published on Aug 18 by Forbes China.

　　Ding Lei, CEO of online gaming company NetEase, was ranked fourth on the list, the highest among entrepreneurs from Ningbo.

　　According to the financial report released by the company, NetEase's net revenue and net profits in 2021 hit 87.6 billion yuan ($13.48 billion) and 19.8 billion yuan respectively.

　　Ginlong (Solis) Technologies

　　The other three people from the city are Wang Yiming (34th), CEO of photovoltaic company Ginlong (Solis) Technologies (34th), Wang Bin (36th), CEO of new energy vehicle company Tuopun Group, and Liu Xianglie (41st), CEO of battery company Ronbay Technology. All three CEOs are newcomers on the list.

　　Since going public in 2020, Ginlong (Solis) Technologies has seen its shares rise by 2,970 percent and its market value balloon to 105.5 billion yuan.

　　Wang Chuanfu, CEO of China electric vehicle maker BYD, topped list, followed by Robin Zeng, the CEO of electric vehicle battery maker Contemporary Amperex Technology, also known as CATL, and Li Zhenguo, president of solar panel supplier LONGi Green Energy Technology.

　　Forbes China's Best CEOs List took into account a company's stock price performance, market value, revenue, net profit, profit growth, return on assets and return on equity for listed businesses based on available data from 2019 through mid-2022.
