In these days, various exciting events are being held in the newly built stadiums in Xiangshan County. In the streets and alleys, the emblem, slogan，and mascot of the 19^th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 can be seen everywhere along the way, and the citizens are looking forward to the Asian Games.

To welcome the 19^th Asian Games, Ningbo will strive to build a modern sports city at a higher level. This year, the city will build a coastal sports center in a bid to vigorously carrying out coastal sports events, like sailing, rowing and other water sports competitions.

Taking the opportunity of hosting some events of the Asian Games, Ningbo will actively apply for all kinds of international and domestic competitions. At the same time, the city will further strengthen up its recognition as an event hub. Relying on the "Belt and Road" Comprehensive Pilot Zone and China-CEEC Expo, Ningbo will hold sports events with both Chinese characteristics and international influence to continuously enhance the popularity of the city.

In consolidating the comprehensive advantages of competitive sports, Ningbo will further optimize the training system and strengthen the guarantee mechanism, and strive for a new breakthrough in the 19^th Asian Games.

In addition to vigorously developing key sports such as shooting, gymnastics, swimming, badminton, weightlifting, trampoline, and sailing, Ningbo will also introduce relevant policies to set up positions of sports coaches in primary and secondary schools, formulate recruitment standards and rules for students with sports expertise, and smooth channels for students with sports expertise to enter featured schools.

This year, Ningbo will also carry out the national fitness development index evaluation, strengthen the construction of sports facilities. In the meanwhile,the national fitness scientific guidance level will be improved, and at least 7.2 million people will receive online and offline training, so that each person will have one sports skill.

In addition, more than 230 kilometers of the main trunk line of the circum-Zhejiang trail will be built and upgraded, as well as 10 demonstration sections of the circum-Zhejiang trail, and 10 fine sports tourism routes.
