Notably, eight projects undertaken by Ningbo enterprises and institutions received prizes, including 1 first prize and 3 second prizes of the State Scientific and Technological Progress Award, and 4 second prizes of the State Technological Invention Award.

As one of the eight award - winning projects from Ningbo, the "research, development, and industrial application of million - ton ethylene facility for complex raw materials" undertaken by Sinopec Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Company received a first prize of the State Scientific and Technological Progress Award.

They are: the "preparation technology and application of ultra - high purity aluminum, titanium, copper, and tantalum sputtering target materials" of Ningbo Jiangfeng Electronic Materials, the "efficient utilization and rapid propagation of high - quality cattle and sheep egg cells" of Ningbo Sansheng Biotechnology Co., the "critical technology and application of high - performance equipment for sterilization and filling of packaged food" of NingboTech University, and the "high - performance gantry machining center machine design, manufacturing process, and application" of Ningbo Haitian Precision Industry.
