The 3rd "Globally Attractive Yinzhou" Conference kicked off on Thursday in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province, part of talent introduction efforts being made by Yinzhou district.

Yinzhou has been striving to build itself into a national hotspot for the development of young talent by providing a broad platform for talent and innovation projects.

In the first half of this year, a total of 14,140 college graduates found jobs in Yinzhou, up 26.4 percent year-on-year.

The "Globally Attractive Yinzhou" initiative was recently selected as one of the best practices in national talent work innovation projects for 2021.

At the opening ceremony of this year's conference, a policy, entitled the "Young Talent Policy" was launched, which is the first policy that the district has introduced specifically directed at young talent.

According to the policy, subsidies, allowances, training programs and services related not only to work but also to daily life, such as housing, healthcare and children's education, are provided to young talent who start their own businesses or find jobs in Yinzhou.

The event is slated to run until Oct 29, during which 11 activities will be held, including forums, road shows, matchmaking events, seminars, keynote speeches and competitions.
